Jersey Mike's Subs began in 1956 on the Jersey Shore, quickly becoming a local favorite for its submarine sandwiches. The original owner, Mike, was known for his personalized customer service. In 1975, 17-year-old Peter Cancro, a passionate employee, bought the shop with a loan from his football coach. Today, under Cancro's leadership as CEO, Jersey Mike's has over 2,800 locations. Known for "Mike’s Way" of making sandwiches with high-quality ingredients, including MSA Grade top round beef cooked in-store, the brand continues to prioritize freshness and customer experience
